Some modes I exist in sometimes
Cocoon mode
This is when I am very cranky and feel that my presence is probably too unpleasant to unleash on all my poor innocent friends and random people out in the world. All I want to do is hide in a cocoon until I'm feeling pleasant enough to emerge. Unfortunately I do not have access to a human sized cocoon so I usually spend most of cocoon mode wrapped in a huge blanket.
I'm the worst composer who has ever lived mode and oh my god I think I'm a musical genius?? mode
I vacillate between these two a lot.
Grateful for Ramona mode
Have you all ever thought about how wild it is that out of all the cats in the world, I ended up with the best one? Imagine if I had adopted some other cat instead. That would have been tragic. I get upset just thinking about it. She's the universe's most perfect little baby.
Barnacle mode
This is when I'm feeling very clingy and cuddly and want to attach myself to my husband's torso like a barnacle.
I'm lonely and want to talk to my friends but I feel like I've been kind of monopolizing the discord server lately so I check the server every 15 minutes to see if a conversation starts without me that I can very casually and nonchalantly join in on mode
This is the platonic version of barnacle mode, I'm pretty sure.
Craving a black bean burger mode
There's no metaphor or vulnerable confession to this one. It's just that I don't eat black bean burgers very often, but when I crave one, I REALLY crave one, you know?

Seriously though, I love this movie. It's so beautiful. There are certain books, albums, movies, etc. that I go to when I just want to feel something and remember how much beauty there is in the world, and this is absolutely one of them. It's stunning. I have a feeling most of the people reading this have seen it already, but if you haven't, please watch it.
